My room is not big, but it’s mine, and pretty much everything on this site was made in it. Here’s the tour.
the lights
33 feet of warm string lights run along the ceiling with removable hooks. This alone took the room from “fine” to “cozy.” My mom was skeptical. She is no longer skeptical.
the desk
White, technically for homework, actually where Bloodlines gets written. A laptop, a notebook, an iced coffee ring I can’t get out.
the corner
My recording setup: a decent mic, over-ear headphones, and a laptop. Every song so far was recorded within four feet of my bed. The rest: a washable rug, a very specific candle, and a bookshelf holding all seven Bloodlines paperbacks plus about 60 others.
