I had $40 and a problem: every fit I owned was a version of the same fit. So I did what any reasonable person does and drove to two Goodwills in one afternoon.
The rules: nothing over $10, nothing I couldn't wear at least three ways, and no more black tees (I broke that one immediately).
what i got
A vintage band tee for a band I cannot name a single song by. Baggy jeans that are a little too long and therefore perfect. A denim jacket already covered in someone else's patches, which I consider a collaboration.
Total: $38. I bought an iced coffee with the change and called it a win.
